Bulldogs Earn Mid-Major Ranking, Head to UC Davis

FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State swimming and diving team looks to keep its five-meet winning streak alive on Friday at 1 p.m. in Davis, Calif., against a formidable opponent in the Aggies.
The 'Dogs (5-1) have earned a No. 46 ranking as a Division I mid-major by CollegeSwimming.com, while UC Davis (2-2) is ranked No. 22.
The Bulldogs are 0-6 against the Aggies during Fresno State head coach Jeanne Fleck's tenure. In the last meeting between the teams on Nov. 2, 2014, UC Davis came out ahead 172-128.
Fresno State is coming off a dual meet win against CSU Bakersfield last Sunday after taking first place in 12 of 16 events.
