On the win tonight…
"The first quarter was a little shocking for everyone. We knew that Wyoming could shoot 3-pointers, but we didn't know they were going to shoot close to 100 percent. It was something that we had to adjust to. I thought we did a good job of adjusting. At the end of the day I thought our defense our defense was what won us this game. We had to play good defense and get stops. The first half is just to get to the second and our kids really bought into that, and did a great job coming back out and finishing."
On being down at halftime...
"We don't have an anxiety when there is a deficit because we've come back so many times. We just make a couple of adjustments and focus on one or two things. We try not to get complicated. I thought we did a good job of pushing out into transition and getting the ball inside the paint. We out scored them 40-8 in the paint and that's pretty much the ball game."
"We just needed to refocus and not get too outside of ourselves. We just needed to get back to what worked when we played Wyoming at their place. We had to get tougher and we did that in the second half."
"How many teams really come back from a 16 point deficit? We aren't doing it on purpose, but just to have a calm head and put the effort forth. A lot of kids would just throw the game. I see a lot of our kids stepping up and refusing to lose."
"We are going to work on being ready and having that urgency earlier. When you get into play championship you cant get into a deficit like that, it doesn't work against good teams. That's something we're going to have to work on."
On having a new starting line up…
"We had a whole new group coming in after graduating some players last year. We had to readjust. Even though we had some important players like Shauqunna Collins and Toni Smith return, others had to adjust. Bego Faz Davalos has been playing more than she ever has, adding Breanne Knishka into the line up, and adding Brittany Aikens into the line up. We are trying to get the right combinations. I think some combinations work for different teams. As a team we also have to believe that we can do this."

On being down in the first half…
"Coach stresses to us to get in the paint. Whether it's post touches or driving into the paint and then kicking it out. We are very successful when we play inside out."
"In those moments we're calm. We focus on what we can do better. We never look back on what happened, we know what happened and it didn't work. We regroup within ourselves. When Coach gives us the game plan for the second half we are ready to go."

On having a career high scoring game…
"I knew that we had to get the ball inside the paint. I had a big focus on scoring tonight."
On being down in the first half…
"I think we're calm in that type of situation. We know how to come back from a deficit. Nobody is hanging their head, we just focus on what to do better."
