• Wednesday's Semifinal meeting marked just the second time the Bulldogs and Rebels have faced off in MW Tournament.
• Fresno State is 2-0 in the MW Tournament against UNLV.
• Fresno State is now 9-1 in the MW Tournament, UNLV drops to 11-17 in tournament play.
• No. 2 Fresno State will take on No. 1 Colorado State in the MW Championship final on Friday at 12 p.m. PT. It sets up a rematch of the 2014 Championship in which Fresno State won 77-68 to capture back-to-back tournament titles.
• The matchup between No. 2 Fresno State and No. 1 Colorado State marks just the sixth time that the top two seeds have advanced to the Championship game.
• Fresno State's Bego Faz Davalos' four blocks were good enough to make her the NCAA season leader in blocks at 127.
• Fresno State's Toni Smith posted her third double-double of the season by scoring 18 points and grabbing 12 rebounds which tied a career high.
• Fresno State held UNLV's Brooke Johnson to 7 points, ending her 9-game doubledigit scoring streak.
• UNLV came into the game leading the conference with a +7.5 rebounding margin, but Fresno State cleaned up on the glass and out-boarded the Lady Rebels 42-35 (it was 25-12 in the first half).
