Team Notes
        • Fresno State won its first-ever Mountain West championship in men's        basketball and third conference tournament title in program history.
        • By earning the MW's automatic bid into the NCAA Tournament, Fresno        State will be making its sixth-ever appearance in the Big Dance and first since 2001.
        • Fresno State enters the NCAA Tournament on a nine-game winning streak, which is        the Bulldogs' longest winning streak since winning 10 in-a-row from Feb. 6-March        13, 1982. It is the longest winning streak in Coach Rodney Terry's tenure.
        • Fresno State enters the NCAA Tournament with a 25-9 record, which is the        third-most wins by a Bulldogs' squad in program history and the sixth time the        Bulldogs have won at least 25 games in a single season.
        • Fresno State has won 29 of its last 30 games when leading at halftime.
        • Fresno State improved to 18-3 this season when holding an opponent to under 45        percent shooting from the field.
        • The Bulldogs hit 10 3-pointers, including six in the first half against San        Diego State. In each of the first two games of the Mountain West Tournament, the Bulldogs        only hit five triples in each game.
        • Fresno State senior guard Marvelle        Harris was named the Mountain West Championships Most Valuable Player and junior        forward Karachi        Edo was also named to the All-Tournament Team.
        • Fresno State was picked to finish fifth in the Mountain West by the        league's media in a preseason poll in mid-October.
        • Fresno State has improved its conference win total in each of the last four        seasons since head coach Rodney        Terry arrived in 2011, rising from 3-11 (11-12) to 5-11 (12-13) to 9-9 (13-14) to 10-8        (14-15) to 13-5 (15-16).

Marvelle        Harris – 18 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals
        With 18 points, he became both the first player in school history to score over 2,000        points in a career and he moved into the No. 1 spot on the Fresno State single-season        record list with 701 points this season – (surpassing Carl Ray Harris'        previous record of 694 points set back in 1994) … named MW Tournament Most        Valuable Player and one of two Bulldogs on the all-tournament team … hit four        3-pointers – all in the first half – after hitting just two 3-pointers        in the first two games of the MW Championships.
Paul        Watson – 8 points, 5 rebounds and 1 steal
        Watson scored eight points with five rebounds and one steal in 26 minutes off the bench        … had only played a combined 15 minutes in the first two games of the tournament        with two total points and three rebounds.
