Fresno State moved to 3-4 on season with a pair of matches against ranked teams on the horizon.
CHENEY, Wash. – The Fresno State women's tennis team ended its two-match skid on Sunday afternoon as the Bulldogs defeated Eastern Washington 6-1.
Â
EWU (1-8) grabbed the early lead in the dual match by winning doubles matches at No. 1 and No. 3Â to earn the point. The loss of the doubles point did not phase the Bulldogs as they won all six singles matches in straight sets.

Led by its three freshman which surrendered a combined five points, Fresno State (3-4) quickly took control of the match. Juliane Triebe blanked Katrina Domingo at No. 4, 6-0, 6-0, while Katerina Stloukalova topped Faye Worrall, 6-1, 6-1, at No. 1, and Georgia Lawson defeated Carolina Lopez on Court 5, 6-2, 6-1.
