Reyes Leads the Way at Lobo Invitational

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Fresno State senior Efren Reyes finished seventh overall in the men's and women's mixed 5K on Saturday morning with a time of 15:50 as the 'Dogs had a strong showing in their first meet of the season.
Fellow senior Joel Gonzalez placed 10th overall with a time of 16:18. Freshman Matthew Founds was the Bulldogs' next finisher at 16:46 which was good for 14th place.
On the women's side, freshman Lydia Scott had an impressive opening race as she was Fresno State's top finisher, and 10th overall, with a mark of 18:51. Not too far behind her was graduate transfer Kathleen Dunne, who finished 13th with a time of 19:13.
The Bulldogs' next race will be the Fresno XC Invitational Sept. 9 at Woodward Park. Fresno State will co-host the meet with Fresno Pacific.
