Triebe, Wilson open tennis season at Battle in the Bay Classic

Play begins on Friday morning at 9:45 a.m. PT at the California Tennis Club.
FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State women's tennis team gets its fall season underway tomorrow at the Battle in the Bay Classic hosted at the California Tennis Club in San Francisco. Junior Emma Wilson and sophomore Julianne Triebe will represent the Bulldogs in the 16-player tournament.

Wilson is the No. 3 seed in the women's singles draw and will face USC'S Alexa Corcoleotes in her first round match at noon on Friday. Triebe will open at 11:30 a.m. against USC's Angela Kulikov, the No. 4 seed in the tournament. The Trojans earned three of the four seeded spots.

The Bulldogs' pair was given the No. 2 seed in the doubles draw and will open with San Francisco's team of Shanna Dos Santos and Alexa Meyer in first round. Doubles play begins at 9:45 a.m. on Friday.
