2018 Fresno State Winter Baseball Academy Registration Now Open

The Bulldog baseball program will host two Winter Baseball Academy camps in December for campers ages five through junior college.
FRESNO, Calif. - The Bulldog baseball program will host two Winter Baseball Academy camps in December for campers ages five through junior college.
Athletes from the age of five through junior college aged players are welcome to take part in the academy that will be run by Fresno State coaches and players in December. The coaches, including head coach Mike Batesole, a two-time national coach of the year, and student-athletes will help run a pair of separate camps, both of which will be held at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium.
Bulldog Winter Prospect Camp
The Bulldogs will host the Bulldog Winter Prospect Camp on Dec. 8-9. This camp is open to players ranging from age 13 to junior college. This camp is created specifically for high school players as campers will be given the opportunity to showcase their abilities in a pro style workout and in game situations for the Bulldog coaching staff.Â
The first day, Saturday, will run from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. followed by 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. Day one will include a college recruiting talk by the bulldog staff as well as offensive and defensive evaluations while day two will cover live game situations for players to showcase abilities. All campers will be provided with a T-Shirt.
The cost of the Winter Prospect Camp is $300. Sibling and Group Discounts of 10% are available as Groups Must Be 5 Or More. This is also not an overnight camp and players traveling from out of town will be responsible for securing their own hotel accommodations.
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.

Finally, the Junior Bulldog Winter Camp will take place Dec. 27-28. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day and is open to kids ages 5-12. Campers will learn drills to improve fundamentals in all areas of the game and be instructed on characteristics that define successful baseball players in a fun competitive environment with instructions provided by Bulldog coaches and players. Each day will be highlighted with a game at the end.
Each camper must bring his own baseball equipment. Players should bring a glove, bat, helmet, cleats/spikes, running shoes or turf shoes, hat, and any other equipment they feel necessary to compete. Catchers must bring their own gear.
