FRESNO, Calif. – Behind 21 unanswered points to open Friday night's game at the Save Mart Center, Fresno State ran away with an 86-51 win over Stanislaus State. It was the Bulldogs' largest margin of victory since a 35-point victory over Fresno Pacific on Nov. 17, 2015.
Â
Four Bulldogs finished in double figures for the third straight contest with Bree Delaney leading the way with 17 points as the sophomore connected on 5-of-8 from beyond the arc. Candice White added 13 points, Kristina Cavey had 11 points and Gabby Standifer poster her first double-digit game for the 'Dogs with 10 points off of the bench.
Â
How It Happened

Fresno State's opening run would last until 3:13 was remaining in the opening quarter as the Warriors were held to only seven shot attempts compared to the 'Dogs forcing eight turnovers. The Bulldogs built their lead up to 28 by the end of the quarter after Delaney dropped in a trey at the buzzer to give Fresno State a 32-4 lead.
