FRESNO, Calif. – Following an exhibition win on Friday night, Jaime White headed to Utah where on Saturday afternoon she will be inducted into the Snow College Athletics Hall of Fame.
Now in her sixth season as Fresno State's head women's basketball coach, White began her coaching career in the town of Ephraim, Utah at Snow College in 1996. During her five seasons at Snow, the Lady Badgers had a 107-50 record and captured two Scenic West Athletic Conference championships. She was named the 2000 Scenic West Coach of the Year and the Snow College Coach of the Year.
"Snow College gave me the perfect start to my career," White said. "We had many talented players and great teams that played so hard for each other. It was a special place with many special people to help us succeed. I am honored and humbled to be inducted into their Hall of Fame."
Following her time at Snow, White made stops at Utah (2001-03) and Wyoming (2003-06) as an assistant coach. She then moved on to Northern Colorado where in eight seasons she became the program's winningest head coach before taking over at Fresno State 2014.
