Fresno State to host MW Outdoor Championships

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State track and field team is hosting the 2019 Mountain West Championships at Veterans Memorial Stadium, May 8-11. It will be the third championship event the Bulldogs will have hosted in the last four seasons. It is the second of three straight years in which Fresno State will host the MW outdoor championships (2018-2020).
The four-day meet will showcase 11 women's programs and seven men's programs from the Mountain West.
TICKETS
Admission is free on Wednesday of the Championships, but tickets are required for admission on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Tickets can be purchased be purchased at Veterans Memorial Stadium one hour prior to the first event on each day. All-session tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for senior citizens, youth (5-17 years old) and Fresno State students. Thursday's tickets are $5. Friday and Saturday tickets are $10 for adults, and $5 for senior citizens, youth (5-17 years old) and Fresno State students. Kids 3-years-old and under are free of charge.
PARKING
Parking will be free of charge in the lot connected to Veterans Memorial Stadium, just off of Nees Ave. in Clovis. Additional parking can be found on the north side of Buchanan High School, located on West Teague Ave. and North Minnewawa Ave.

4-10 p.m. - Men's Decathlon & Women's Heptathlon continue; Men's and Women's 10,000 meters to follow
