Week one of the 2019 NFL preseason came and went over the weekend as seven former 'Dogs saw action on the field.
FRESNO, Calif. - Week one of the 2019 NFL preseason came and went over the weekend as seven former 'Dogs saw action on the field.
Week two kicks off on Thursday night with a showdown in the desert as the Oakland Raiders travel to the Arizona Cardinals for a primetime matchup on ESPN.
WR Davante Adams (Green Bay Packers)
Adams did not play in the Packers' opening preseason game, a 28-26 win at home over the Houston Texans.
Green Bay (1-0) travels to the Baltimore Ravens (1-0) in week two of the preseason on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. PT.
LB Jeff Allison (New York Jets)
Allison was cut from the Jets on July 30 with an injury waiver and will look to heal as he tries to catch on with another team.
WR Brian Burt (Oakland Raiders)
Burt, who appeared in seven games over his two seasons with the 'Dogs in 2017 & 2018, signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in May, but was cut a week into training camp on Aug. 1.
Much like Allison, he will look to catch on elsewhere around the league.
QB Derek Carr (Oakland Raiders)
Carr did not play in the Raiders' opening preseason game on Saturday evening at the Oakland Coliseum.
The Raiders (1-0) travel to the Arizona Cardinals (1-0) in week two of the preseason on Thursday at 5 p.m. PT on ESPN.
DT Tyeler Davison (Atlanta Falcons)
Davison made his preseason debut on Thursday at Miami starting at defensive tackle in a narrow 34-27 loss to the Dolphins.
The Falcons (0-2), with two preseason games under their belts, host the New York Jets (0-1) on Thursday at 4:30 p.m. PT.
WR KeeSean Johnson (Arizona Cardinals)
Making his preseason professional debut on Thursday at home against the Los Angeles Chargers, Johnson made two receptions for 29 yards collecting a six-yard catch from Brett Hundley in the second quarter and added a 23-yard reception in the third quarter from Drew Anderson on a six-play drive that ended in a field goal.
Johnson will see his second action of the preseason in week two as the Arizona Cardinals (1-0) host the Oakland Raiders (1-0) on Thursday at 5 p.m. PT on ESPN.
Riley made two tackles, one solo, on Saturday evening in the Raiders' 14-3 win at home over the Los Angeles Rams.
The Raiders (1-0) travel to the Arizona Cardinals (1-0) in week two of the preseason on Thursday at 5 p.m. PT on ESPN.
WR Da'Mari Scott (New York Giants)
Scott made one reception for nine yards on Thursday in the Giants' 31-22 win over the New York Jets with a reception in the fourth quarter on a 10-play, 86-yard drive that resulted in a touchdown.
The Giants (1-0) will host the Chicago Bears (0-1) on Friday in week two of the preseason at 4:30 p.m. PT on the NFL Network.
S Derron Smtih (Minnesota Vikings)
Smith made two tackles on Friday night in the Vikings' 34-25 win at the New Orleans Saints making two tackles, one solo. and defended a pass, one of Minnesota's six in the game.
The Vikings (1-0) host the Seattle Seahawks (1-0) next Sunday in week two of the preseason at 5 p.m. PT on FOX.
OL Micah St. Andrew (Detroit Lions)
St. Andrew made his professional debut in the preseason on Thursday in the Lions' 31-3 loss at home to the New England Patriots getting on the field in a reserve role.
The Lions (0-1) travel to the Houston Texans (0-1) on Saturday in week two of the preseason with a 5 p.m. PT game at NRG Stadium.
S Charles Washington (Detroit Lions)
Washington did not play in week one of the preseason.

Wiggins got the starting nod at left guard for the Lions on Thursday in a 31-3 loss to the New England Patriots, but Detroit was limited to 93 yards of offense.
The Lions (0-1) travel to the Houston Texans (0-1) on Saturday in week two of the preseason with a 5 p.m. PT game at NRG Stadium.
