Bulldogs Launch New Mobile App
10/19/2020 4:00:00 PM | General
In a challenging year, the Red Wave has shown what being a Bulldog is truly about. Overcoming obstacles, helping teammates and neighbors, and finding ways to succeed despite adversity is what the spirit of Fresno State is all about.Â
With kick-off in this historic 2020 season only days away, the Bulldogs have launched a new app to keep fans connected 365 days of the year. The app is presented in partnership with long-time Bulldog partner Table Mountain Casino.
Available on both Apple and Android platforms, the app is powered by Sidearm Sports, the same engine driving gobulldogs.com. It includes real-time updates to the program, schedules, media, and behind-the-scenes content to connect fans in a virtual experience.Â

"Due to unique circumstances this year, there is no doubt how much we will miss the Red Wave supporting our student-athletes, in-person, during our competitions," said Frank Pucher, Senior Associate Athletics Director for External Relations. "Our passionate fan base rivals any in our conference and our region, and while their voices unfortunately won't be heard inside our stadiums at this time, providing a streamlined opportunity for the Red Wave to support and engage with our programs was a top priority for our department.
"While we anxiously await the time when we can see all of our fans together again inside our venues, this new official app will be an important tool that will allow Red Wavers everywhere the ability to stay connected and close to the action, now and in the future."
In addition to up-to-date content, fans will be able to play along this season from home. The new "Doghouse Game-Day" virtual experience brings the energy of in-stadium promotions, engagement, and trivia for Bulldog football games to your phone. Fans can play along during games, win prizes, and compete with other Fresno State fans during in-game contests. This "second screen" experience will also be available for fans to participate when the team is on the road. More information on Doghouse Game-Day is scheduled for release later this week.
The new app is available now for download, in the Apple Store and in Google Play for Android users. Previous downloads of the official Bulldogs app will notice that the new app replaced the old app after a system update. Future uses of the app will include digital souvenir program delivery, mobile ticketing, and push notifications for start times for all athletics contests, scoring updates, and other at-your-fingertip delivery of important Bulldog news.
