FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State men's basketball team opened the 2020-21 season with an 87-47 win over the William Jessup Warriors on Thanksgiving Eve at the Save Mart Center.
 Â
Fresno State sophomore 7-foot forward Orlando Robinson had 16 points with 10 rebounds for his sixth career double-double, while sophomore guard Isaiah Hill also had 16 points and Deon Stroud added 13 points in their Bulldog debuts.
Sophomore guard Jordan Campbell scored 10 points off the bench and Allan Hancock College transfer Kyle Harding produced nine points, seven rebounds and three steals for Fresno State.
Seniors Devin Gage and Christian Gray each also recorded eight points in the Bulldogs' 21st straight home-opening victory.
How it happened:Â Fresno State (1-0) used a 17-2 run midway through the first half to set the tone early.
The Bulldogs consistently worked the ball inside en route to more than 50 paint touches and then were selective, but efficient from the perimeter.

On the defensive end of the floor, the 'Dogs registered nine steals and limited the Warriors to just 27 percent from the floor, including a 26.7 percent clip from beyond the 3-point line.
