Fresno State Athletics and Barnes & Noble College announce Bulldog Shop Partnership

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State Athletics and Barnes & Noble College announced on Wednesday a five-year partnership in which the Basking Ridge, N.J. based company will become the official operator of the Bulldog Shop, Fresno State Athletics' official fan shop on the corner of Cedar and Barstow Avenue.
The agreement is effective April 1, 2020. Within the new partnership, Barnes & Noble College will operate the Bulldog Shop retail store (1794 E. Barstow Avenue), as well as all in-venue game day merchandise sales kiosks, and the official online e-commerce fan shop (shop.gobulldogs.com).
"We are thrilled to partner with Barnes & Noble College to create an exciting future for the historic Bulldog Shop," said Terry Tumey, Director of Athletics. "This partnership will allow us to continue to advance the Fresno State brand while providing a world-class retail shopping experience for passionate Bulldog fans everywhere."
A stark difference that will benefit the Red Wave's customer experience will be the ability to purchase items online and return in-store, and the overall ability to access the same items both in-store, in-venue, or online. This new omni-channel partnership will allow Bulldog fans a great selection of officially licensed Fresno State Athletics merchandise and apparel across all platforms, creating a streamlined shopping experience.
Beginning in the summer of 2020, the Bulldog Shop will carry a comprehensive selection of official adidas apparel, both in-store and online, giving Bulldog fans everywhere access to merchandise from Fresno State Athletics' new official sideline apparel partner.

"Bringing Bulldog products and services under one retail roof (official store, game-day venues, and eCommerce) will create a fantastic experience that reflects Fresno State's pride, and supports Bulldog Athletics!"
Barnes & Noble College will begin renovations to the Bulldog Shop retail store during the summer of 2020, with renovations expected to be completed by Aug. 1. The new e-commerce fan shop will be launched on April 1, and can be accessed through the official athletics website, gobulldogs.com, or by visiting shop.gobulldogs.com.
Temporary Closure
The Bulldog Shop retail store will be closed to the public beginning March 23 and will reopen April 6 in order for the transition to take place. During this time, fans are encouraged to visit shop.gobulldogs.com to access merchandise.
