Huff earns Top 10 in Pebble Beach

Fresno State’s Kevin Huff finished in a tie for ninth in the Saint Mary’s Invitational.
The Breakdown
PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Fresno State senior Kevin Huff earned a Top 10 finish in the Saint Mary's Invitational, which was held this week at Poppy Hills Golf Club in Pebble Beach.
Huff, who opened the tournament with a collegiate career-best 65, tied for ninth in the 104-man field, which included some of the best golfers in the West.
Matthew Sutherland also recorded a sub-par round with a 70 in the second round on Tuesday for the Bulldogs.
Fresno State tied for 15th in the team competition to close out its fall slate of tournaments.
The Bulldogs will next play in the John Burns Intercollegiate in Lihue, Hawai'i, in February.Â
