The Bulldogs will add the heavily recruited trio of middle blocker Addison Haluska (Gilbert, Ariz.), outside hitter Jenna Legault (Bothell, Wash.) and outside hitter Shaylee Myers (Lincoln, Neb.) to the Bulldog family next fall as freshmen.
"Wow, we are blessed with this class of people that are coming in," said Winder. "The talent is immense, which is exciting for sure. What I've been most impressed with is how all these student-athletes have worked so diligently to build themselves into high-level players. They all greatly improved from their freshman year to their senior year. They share a common love of the game, competitive drive to be their best and their team to be its best, and an ability to learn what it takes. They care about doing things the right way and will be exemplary on and off the court."
"I think great programs are built when we can bring in great people and athletes year after year," added Winder. "This group continues that tradition. They are motivated to help continue the growth of Fresno State Volleyball and compete with the special group of players we currently have here."
Addison Haluska

On the club ball scene, Haluska has competed with the East Valley Juniors located in Tempe over the last five years helping the U17 team finish third at nationals.
Haluska chose Fresno State because she fit in well with the team, enjoyed the coaching staff & city of Fresno along with the support from the community and its location.
Winder on Haluska:
"Addison has taken her game to a whole new level towards the end of her high school career. She's one of the best athletes in Arizona. She has had the opportunity to improve as a volleyball player by playing outside hitter at times, and will be able to use those skills to excel in the middle position for us. Her ability to score on her attacking in the middle is what sets her apart as a volleyball player. Ultimately she's a kind, loyal and authentic person who will make everyone around her better."
Jenna Legault
Position: Outside Hitter
Height: 6-0
Hometown: Bothell, Wash.
High School: Bothell
A four-year letter winner at Bothell High School in Washington, Legault is a three-time All-League King County selection.
A captain as a senior this fall, Legault has helped lead the Cougars to a 26-3 record this season and the King County League championship.
On the club ball scene, Legault competed with the Sudden Impact Volleyball Club in Bellevue and was a member of the AVCA 2020 Phenom Watch List.
Legault chose Fresno State because the coaching staff and players made her feel welcome immediately and it is the perfect balance for her academically and athletically. She also enjoyed the community of Fresno and the support they give the Bulldogs.
"Jenna is a phenomenal athlete who has built herself into a really good volleyball player. She has been learning the game the right way and has a passion to become her best. She jumps high, hits hard and is already blocking at a very high level. Jenna can score and defend on both pins. She's always working on something, driven to achieve. She has great motivation and excels in all parts of her day. We're excited to have her in our program!"
Shaylee Myers

High School: Lincoln Southwest
A four-time All-City selection and a three-time all-conference selection, Myers set a single-season school mark for aces with 69 and tallied 489 kills, 303 digs, 44 blocks and 35 aces while hitting .372 as a senior this fall for the Silver Hawks who went 30-5 as a team and advanced to the quarterfinals of the NSAA Volleyball Championships. Myers also holds the school career mark for kills (1536) and service aces (161).

Myers chose Fresno State because the coaches made her feel like family.
Winder on Myers:
"Shay is a stud. She is an experienced and accomplished six-rotation outside hitter who is really just getting going in her career. She's shown a ton of improvement in her high school career, proving her work ethic and ability to learn is excellent. Her ability to terminate and have a depth of range as a hitter has set her apart. She has a great serve and pass game, which we value tremendously as well. She's going to do some great things for the 'Dogs!"
