The Breakdown:
FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State men's basketball team defeated the San Diego Toreros 63-43 on Wednesday night at the Save Mart Center.
Â
This was the third 20-point win for Fresno State (6-1), who never trailed in dispatching San Diego (4-5) behind a stalwart defense, strong post play and an impressive performance at the charity stripe.
Fresno State junior forward Orlando Robinson scored a game-high 15 points with five rebounds, five assists, three blocks and a steal to lead the Bulldogs, who improved to 4-0 at home this season.
Jordan Campbell added 12 points and Anthony Holland had 11 points with eight rebounds in Fresno State's third win in 10 days over West Coast Conference opponents.

Fresno State made 51.2 percent of its field goal attempts (22-for-43) and went 17-for-19 at the free throw line (89.5 percent).
The Bulldogs led for more than 39 of the game's 40 minutes.
Quotes:
Justin Hutson, Fresno State head coach
On the team's performance...
"I think we're trying to play the game a little easier. We're trying to play it how it comes, the right way… all those analogies… We're trying to make sure we hit the open man, get the ball to where it's supposed to go. I think the guys are starting to feel like, no matter what we run, it has to go through Orlando's hands a little bit more. And, I think as the year goes on, it'll be able to go through Orlando's hands but they will also be able to be comfortable playing their game when they feel it's open. But, when it goes through Orlando's hands, good things usually happen."

Orlando Robinson, Fresno State junior forward
On the team's mindset and inspiration...
"It feels great seeing my teammates being aggressive when they need to be. It was really inspiring to me. My teammates have to know how to play off me and without me, and I was proud of Donavan Yap and Jordan Campbell for knowing what to do in the situation."
Â
On the team bouncing back for a 20-point win...
"We saw what we needed to do and came into this game and worked on it. Just focus on the details and positions because that's going to make us a great team."
