FAIRFAX, Calif. - The Fresno State women's golf team picked up its 13th consecutive top 10 finish after placing seventh at the Juli Inkster at Meadow Club Invitational, hosted by San Jose State, on Tuesday. Fresno State finished seventh in the 12-team field. The Bulldogs shot a 44-over-par 908 (298-306-304) at the event.Â
Â
The Bulldogs battled some cold weather on Tuesday, but shot a 304 on the day to make the move up from eighth place, where they sat at the end of Monday's 36 holes.
"We had another exciting week," said head coach Emily Loftin. "It is exciting to see Jess [Hall] have another top 15 finish. She is really picking up some great momentum. It is a challenging golf course, but we were able to take some feedback and figure out some areas where we need to grow. We had good movement up the board today and we are looking forward to another solid week of preparation and getting ourselves ready to head to Arizona."
