Paul George, who played at Fresno State from 2008-10 and was the No. 10 overall draft pick in the 2010 NBA Draft, has led the Los Angeles Clippers to the franchise’s first appearance in the Western Conference Finals.
PHOENIX – Paul George introduced himself to the nation with an emphatic slam dunk in his second game in a Bulldog uniform as a freshman on November 17, 2008.
Since that moment, George has soared to superstar status in the NBA and has led the Los Angeles Clippers to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history. In 2021, George earned his sixth All-NBA team selection.
Here's a snapshot at George's production in the 2021 playoffs:
George headlines a trio of three former Bulldogs on NBA rosters, which also includes Tyler Johnson (Brooklyn Nets) and Paul Watson (Toronto Raptors). And for the fourth time in Johnson's NBA career, Johnson was on an Eastern Conference playoff team (Miami – 2016 & 2018, Brooklyn 2020 & 2021).
