Fresno State Outdoor Athletic Events Return to Full Capacity

All outdoor competitive events will return to full capacity, in accordance with CDPH guidelines.
FRESNO, Calif. - In accordance with guidelines from the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for Mega Outdoor events, Fresno State Athletics is pleased to announce that there will be no capacity limitations or physical distancing requirements for spectators attending any outdoor Bulldog sporting events.
These guidelines will be in place for the football season opener at Bulldog Stadium on August 28. These guidelines are also applicable for: soccer games at the Bulldog Soccer Field, equestrian meets at the Student Horse Center, tennis matches at the Spalding G. Wathen Tennis Center, swim and dive and water polo events at the Aquatics Center, baseball games at Pete Beiden Field at Bob Bennett Stadium, and softball games at Margie Wright Diamond.
In an effort to help ensure the health and safety of all individuals in attendance at upcoming athletics events, Fresno State Athletics has implemented several new safety precautions and procedures ahead of the 2021-2022 seasons including:
Guidelines for Mega Indoor events held at the Save Mart Center, including volleyball and men's and women's basketball, will be announced in the near future.

- Based on public health guidelines, it is strongly recommended that attendees who are not fully vaccinated should wear a face covering. All attendees, including those who are fully vaccinated, should consider wearing a face covering, such as a KN95 mask, to help ensure protection in high-risks settings such as sitting in large crowds with others who are not vaccinated or masked.
- Based on public health guidelines, it is strongly recommended that attendees who are not fully vaccinated have a negative COVID test within 72 hours of game time. Anyone who has a recent positive COVID test, symptoms of COVID, or is currently considered a close contact of someone with COVID, should not attend.
- The implementation of mobile tickets for all ticketed sports and mobile parking passes for football games to help reduce person-to-person contact points. All fans are encouraged to receive their game tickets and parking passes electronically to their smartphone device. More information is available at gobulldogs.com/mobiletickets.
