Centennial Celebration set for Aug. 14

Fresno State Athletics’ Centennial Celebration event will feature Fresno Street Eats food trucks, live music, and the Bulldogs’ soccer team hosting the defending national champion in an exhibition contest.
FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State Athletics' Centennial Celebration will be held on Aug. 14 from 5-9 p.m. PT at Bulldog BLVD, presented by Toyota, and the Bulldogs' Soccer Stadium.
The celebration will feature various Fresno Street Eats food trucks, beer and wine sales in the Bob Bennett Stadium concourse, live music from 5-7 p.m., and the Fresno State soccer team hosting defending national champion Santa Clara at 7 p.m. PT in an exhibition match. Additionally, exclusive centennial posters will be given away to the first 1,000 fans in attendance and the Bulldog Football team, who kicks off their season Aug. 28 at home against UConn, will make an appearance to join the Red Wave in supporting the soccer program.
The Centennial Celebration, as well as the soccer match, are free to attend and parking will be available in the Red Lot.

The Centennial Celebration is one opportunity for fans to honor the first 100 years of Bulldog Athletics. Additionally, Fresno State will continue the celebration throughout the entire academic year with custom programming and exciting recognition opportunities. In the first 100 years of Fresno State Athletics, the Bulldogs have won multiple national championships, over 215 team conference championships and over 345 individual conference championships, and produced over 350 All-Americans, Olympians and community leaders -- with athletic and academic excellence representing the Pride of the Valley around the world.
Fresno State is also recognizing the 50th anniversary of Title IX this coming spring, including the opportunity for supporters to participate in The Bulldog Foundation's 50 for 50 campaign, which aims to secure 50 endowments in support of female student-athletes.
