BULLDOG BONES

Fresno State closes out October traveling to Wyoming on Thursday and Colorado State on Saturday.
The 'Dogs are coming off a four-set setback at Air Force and were swept at home by New Mexico last Saturday.
The Bulldogs are 2-5 at Wyoming with wins in 2013 & 2018 and 0-10 at CSU as members of the MW.
The 'Dogs dropped previous meetings this season against Wyoming in four sets and Colorado State in five sets.
Fresno State ranks second in the MW and 28th nationally with 207.0 blocks.
The Bulldogs are also third in the conference in blocks per set (2.35) and total team attacks (2,886).
Kasey Purry went over the century mark in blocks last week and has posted 106.0 blocks this season to rank second in the MW.

Scouting Wyoming

Wyoming is 9-13 this season with a 5-5 mark in the Mountain West.
The Cowgirls are sixth in the MW sitting one match behind Boise State and Utah State for fourth.
Wyoming is coming off a five-set win at Boise on Saturday and fell in four sets at home to Utah State.
The Cowgirls are 2-8 at home with wins over Nicholls State and Morehead State.
Wyoming is fourth in the MW in digs (1,130), kills (1,050), total attacks (2,862) and total blocks (190.5).
Sophomore setter Kasia Partyka leads the MW in assists (859).

Scouting Colorado State

Colorado State is 15-6 this season with a 8-2 mark in the Mountain West.
The Rams are third in the MW, one match back of San Jose State and UNLV for first.
CSU is coming off a four-set win at Utah State and fell in four sets at home to Boise State last week.
The Rams lead the Mountain West and rank 21st in the nation in hitting percentage (.270).
Individually, redshirt junior setter Ciera Pritchard is second in assists per set (9.82) and third in assists (756).

Kasey Purry is coming off a nine-block performance at Air Force last Thursday which tied her single-match career high.
She continues to be among the Mountain West block leaders ranking second in the conference in blocks (106), 21st nationally, and third in blocks per set (1.20).

DOYLE CONTINUES TO EXCEL

Grace Doyle has reached double figure kills in 17 of 22 matches this season.
Doyle checks in third in the MW in aces (30) along with checking in seventh in points (317.5) & blocks (86).

WIN THE FIRST SET

The Bulldogs fell to 6-7 when winning the first set after taking the first set at Air Force and are 0-9 when dropping the opening set.

OUTHIT THE OPPONENT

The 'Dogs are 6-2 when out hitting their opponent, but 0-14 when trailing or equal.
