’Dogs dominate Spartans, 73-43

Fresno State earned a historic road win by soundly defeating San Jose State by 30 on Tuesday night.
SAN JOSE, Calif. – The Fresno State men's basketball team dominated the San Jose State Spartans 73-43 on Tuesday night at the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
This was the first of three games in six days for Fresno State (15-6, 5-3 Mountain West), who next host Nevada on Friday and Wyoming on Sunday.
Fresno State junior forward Orlando Robinson scored a game-high 18 points with five rebounds and five assists to lead a total of five Bulldogs in double figures.
Junior Ballard, Jordan Campbell, Leo Colimerio and Isaiah Hill each also had 11 points for Fresno State, who earned its largest margin of victory ever in a Mountain West road game.
The Bulldogs have now won its last 10 games played against San Jose State (7-13, 0-8 MW).
How it happened: Fresno State used a 14-0 run in the first half to build a double-digit lead and never looked back in an efficient offensive performance on the road, which saw the Bulldogs shoot 58.7 percent from the field (27-for-46).
