Fresno State earned its second road win in MW play this season by 25 or more points.

USAFA, Colo. – The Fresno State men's basketball team defeated the Air Force Falcons 65-40 on Tuesday night at Clune Arena.

Fresno State (17-10, 7-7 Mountain West) delivered one of its most efficient offensive performances of the season, especially in the second half while routing the Falcons.

Orlando Robinson scored a game-high 26 points for the Bulldogs, who held Air Force (10-16, 3-12 MW) to a season-low 40 points.

How it happened: Fresno State made its first four shots and built an early 11-2 lead on AFA just over five minutes into the contest.

After Air Force cut its deficit to 15-13, the Bulldogs continued to attack and defend, and used a 20-7 run to build a 35-20 lead early in the second half.

Fresno State opened the second half by shooting 13-for-16 from the field (81.3 percent) and finished by converting 75 percent of its field goal attempts in the final 20 minutes.

Fresno State has limited 25 of its 27 opponents to fewer than 70 points this season.
This was the first of three road games in the Bulldogs' final four currently scheduled MW games.
Fresno State now leads the all-time series with Air Force 25-8 (overall), which includes a 11-4 all-time road record against the Falcons.
Fresno State has now won six of its last seven games played against Air Force (6-2 in Hutson's tenure).
Fresno State's defense limited Air Force to 15 points in the first half – the fewest points scored by a Division 1 opponent in a half since San Jose State scored 13 in the first half on March 8, 2014. Fresno State won that road game 69-56 at the Event Center in San Jose.
