Fresno State earned its second road win in MW play this season by 25 or more points.
USAFA, Colo. – The Fresno State men's basketball team defeated the Air Force Falcons 65-40 on Tuesday night at Clune Arena.
Fresno State (17-10, 7-7 Mountain West) delivered one of its most efficient offensive performances of the season, especially in the second half while routing the Falcons.
Orlando Robinson scored a game-high 26 points for the Bulldogs, who held Air Force (10-16, 3-12 MW) to a season-low 40 points.
How it happened: Fresno State made its first four shots and built an early 11-2 lead on AFA just over five minutes into the contest.
After Air Force cut its deficit to 15-13, the Bulldogs continued to attack and defend, and used a 20-7 run to build a 35-20 lead early in the second half.
Fresno State opened the second half by shooting 13-for-16 from the field (81.3 percent) and finished by converting 75 percent of its field goal attempts in the final 20 minutes.
