'Dogs place seventh at final fall tournament

BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The Fresno State women's golf team wrapped up the fall season with a seventh-place finish at the Clash at Boulder Creek after shooting an even-par 864.
The week was highlighted by freshman Amelia Garibaldi's season-low performance, carding a 5-under 211. Garibaldi recorded a new season-low round vs. par, three-under 69, with three birdies. She finished the tournament tied for 10th, her highest finish of the season.
Freshman Vunnisa Vu was second among the Bulldogs, also recording a season-low tournament score with an even-par 216. Also shot her lowest round of the season in the final round, one-under 71.
Meredith McDougal, competing as an individual, finished the tournament six-over 230.
