Pair of 'Dogs finish seventh at The Valley Invitational

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – Separated by a stroke of one another yesterday, Nicola Kaminski and Harriet Lynch finished level on the week to lead Fresno State at The Valley Invitational at Bakersfield Country Club with seventh-place individual finishes.
Kaminski shot a 2-over par 74 on Tuesday to close out the Bulldogs' first tournament of the spring. The junior knocked in three birdies during the first 11 holes but struggled late in the round. It was Kaminski's highest tournament finish since joining the Bulldogs last year.
Lynch earned her third Top 10 result of the season. The senior carded a 3-over par 75 for the second-straight round.
Kaminski and Lynch each knocked in seven birdies during the tournament, one back of Katelyn Harris' team high of eight.
As a team, Fresno State finished fifth overall, carding a 50-over par 914 (301-304-309).
