FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State senior jumping seat rider Ana Bertozzi was named a 2022-23 Ariat All-American for the second time in her Bulldog career. Bertozzi was selected as an honorable mention honoree in the fences this season.
Â
Bertozzi finished the season with a 10-2 record in the fences, with one MOP. It was the first time that she rode for 10 wins in a single season in her career, in any event.
Â
She finished the season with an eight-meet winning streak, dating back to Nov. 17, 2022.
Â
The four-year Bulldog became the fifth Fresno State equestrian to earn All-America honors in the fences and the first since the 2019-20 season. She is the third Bulldog in program history to earn All-America honors in both jumping seat events (fences and flat) at any point in her career. Bertozzi earned honorable mention in the flat in the shortened 2021 season.
