Pair of 'Dogs head to Zone E Diving Championships

FRESNO, Calif. - Fresno State divers Silvia Alessio and Grace Ally will represent Fresno State at the NCAA Zone E Diving Championships set for Monday through Wednesday hosted by the University of Utah in Federal Way, Wash.

Competing at the King County Aquatic Center, Alessio will compete on the 1 Meter, 3 Meter and Platform while Ally will compete on the Platform & 3 Meter.

Alessio, a senior from Italy, is coming off a pair of seventh-place finishes on the 3 Meter and Platform at the Mountain West Championships to earn a pair of All-MW honors.

Ally, a freshman from England, took 14th on the Platform at the MW Championships with a score of 200.00 and was ninth in the consolation on the 3 Meter with a score of 283.75.

Eight student-athletes will qualify at the Zone E Championships on the 3 Meter and Platform while the 1 Meter will have six qualifiers.
