'Dogs open play at Riverside Classic

PROVO, Utah – The Fresno State women's golf team closed out the first day at the Riverside Classic in seventh place, shooting back-to-back rounds of 11-over par.
Two Bulldogs sit inside the Top 20 individually. Carding a 3-over par over 36 holes, freshman Katelyn Lehigh is tied for 15th overall. Two shots back, and tied for 20th, is Harriet Lynch. The two each shot a team-low 73 on the day, with Lynch's coming in Round 1 and Lehigh's in Round 2.
Nicola Kaminski is a stroke back of Lynch at 6-over par. The junior is tied for 26th. Her first round 74 was tied for the team's second-lowest round of the day. Lehigh also shot a 74 in the opening round while Katelyn Harris produced a 74 in her second round.
The final round will begin tomorrow with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. PT.
