Bulldogs drop straight sets to Matadors

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. – The Fresno State Volleyball team fell in straight sets to the CSUN Matadors on Wednesday evening at Premier America Credit Union Arena.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Fresno State led for a majority of the first set but fell behind in the back-half. They chipped away at the CSUN lead but fell 25-19. The Matadors and the 'Dogs kept the second set close, staying within four points of each other throughout the set. CSUN hit a late surge in the set and won 25-21. The Bulldogs trailed by a narrow margin in the third set but tied it up 20-20. Three consecutive kills put the Matadors on top, but the 'Dogs scored four-straight to take the lead before dropping the final set 27-25.
