'Dogs close out Ptarmigan Ram Classic

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Fresno State women's golf team wrapped up the Ptarmigan Ram Classic with a fifth place finish after carding a 6-under 858.Â
Freshman Sophia Yi-Ju Chen led the Bulldogs for the second consecutive tournament, recording a season-low 3-round 5-under 211. Chen had a 1-over 73 on the day with three birdies to finish tied for 10th.
Senior Katelyn Lehigh was right behind Chen with a 4-under 212, after finishing the last 18 holes with a 1-under 71. Lehigh capped off the tournament with four birdies.Â
