‘Dogs unveil Alumnae Day jerseys, launch “Why Not You?” campaign

FRESNO, Calif. – The Fresno State volleyball team has launched its "Why Not You?" campaign, allowing members of the Red Wave to support the team with three sponsorship packages to choose from.
In a historical run during the first season of the Rosen Era, a mantra of "Why not us?" became a public beacon for the Bulldogs. "Why not us?" was used to remind teammates and supporters alike that someone had to win… it might as well be the 'Dogs. The success of the Bulldogs run in 2023 inspired the name "Why Not You?" to encourage the community to support the Fresno State Volleyball program.
As part of the campaign, the Bulldogs are auctioning off their newly debuted Alumnae Day jerseys, modeled after the jerseys worn by the 1984 team that made a historic run to the Elite 8 of the NCAA Championship.
The uniforms include a white sleeveless top with "Fresno" written across the front in white block lettering over a red stripe and navy shorts. The back of the jersey features the last names of letter winners in the program surrounding each athlete's number with the Mountain West logo on the left and the Green V logo on the right. The Bulldogs will wear these jerseys on Saturday, October 12 as part of the Alumnae Day celebration.
