Bulldogs' offense stalls on Senior Day to Wyoming

FRESNO, Calif. – Shooting its second-lowest percentage of season from the field (28.6%), Fresno State dropped its final regular-season game 86-47 on Saturday at the Save Mart Center. The Bulldogs were held to 17 points in the second half.
Jalen Weaver scored a game-high 12 points off the bench for the 'Dogs. Four Cowboys registered double figures, led by Akuel Kot who had 17.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Missing on their first four attempts, Fresno State used an early timeout to reset after going down 7-0. The Bulldogs climbed back, scoring seven of the next nine points.
Trailing 18-13 with over seven minutes gone, Wyoming scored eight unanswered to go up 26-13, six coming off drives to the bucket. Sixteen of the Cowboys first 26 points came inside the paint.
The seniors pulled the deficit back into single digits with a 7-0 spurt. But like they did throughout the half, the Cowboys answered back. Wyoming held a 46-30 lead at the break.
Wyoming pushed its advantage over 20 early in the half with a 14-5 stretch.
Fresno State was outscored 40-17 during the final 20 minutes.
