'Dogs sign Pepperdine transfer Holly Griffiths

FRESNO, Calif.- Holly Griffiths becomes the sixth signee for Fresno State women's basketball team. The 6-foot-4 Australian joins Fresno State after one season at Pepperdine.Â
The Melbourne native spent her first season with the Waves, Griffiths saw 20 game appearances averaging 3.1 points and 1.7 rebounds as a true freshman. Griffiths scored her first collegiate double-figure game against the Bulldogs. The Forward had a season-high game against, WCC Tournament Champs. Portland State, recording 14 points, 6-of-13 from the field, five rebounds and one steal with 22 minutes on the court.Â
Prior to Pepperdine, Griffiths played for the NBL1 Dandenong Rangers, WNBL Southside Flyers and spent three years with the Victoria Metro U20, U18 and U16 teams.Â
Griffiths is the fourth transfer to sign with the Bulldogs for the upcoming 2024-25 season and will join Avery Watkins (Hawaii), Mariah Elohim (LIU), Saga Ukkonen (Texas Tech.) and incoming freshmen Danae Powell and Rayna Williams.Â
