Lloyd shoots 65 on day two in Hawai'i

LIHUE, Hawai'i – The Fresno State golf team posted a 8-under 272 on the second day of the John A. Burns Intercollegiate at the Ocean Course at Hokuala, moving up to eighth place in the field.
Joseph Lloyd led the Bulldogs, carding a season-low 65 in the round, climbing 18 spots on the leaderboard to sixth place. Lloyd recorded six birdies on the day.
Chris Bettencourt shot a 2-under 68 and is now 2-over for the tournament. Ryan Firpo is 4-over, James Watney is 6-over, and Jaden Hunter is 8-over.
All five Bulldogs improved their scores in round two.
