FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's tennis team earns their first conference home win against Colorado State at Spalding G. Wathen on Friday night, 4-1.Â
The clincher, Andjela Lopicic secured the win for the Bulldogs in a three set thriller at No. 4 singles.Â
How it HappenedÂ
Martini and Jittakoat started down three games to zero, before making up ground to trail by one, 4-3. Colorado State started doubles with one less pair forfeiting their third doubles flight. Fresno State worked overtime as they trailed in both doubles matches. Both of Fresno State's doubles teams fell six games to four to hand Colorado State the doubles point. Matilde Magrini secured point number three for the Bulldogs. Magrini defeated Weekly in straight sets on court one. Dunbar and Lopicic were on the verge of wins for the match clincher.Â
