Robinette named Big 12 Equestrian Scholar-Athlete of the Year

IRVING, Texas - Fresno State senior reiner Shelby Robinette has been named the Big 12 Equestrian Scholar-Athlete of the Year, the conference office announced on Thursday.

Robinette becomes the second Bulldog all-time to earn the honor, joining Ana Bertozzi from 2022.

The senior Bulldog just completed her third season of true competition for the Bulldogs, and fourth on the roster, is a current Master's of Sports Administration student at Fresno State and boasts a 4.00 GPA. She competed in all 14 meets for the 'Dogs this season, proving to be a dedicated student-athlete.

Robinette, a native of Sterling, Colo., was able to earn her undergraduate degree in three years, graduating last spring with a degree in agriculture business, all while being a dedicated and decorated student-athlete.
