WACO, Texas - The National Collegiate Equestrian Association announced its 2025-26 preseason coaches poll on Tuesday, which saw the Bulldogs ranked No. 10. New this season, the NCEA implemented a coaches poll as opposed to its previous committee format.
Â
The Bulldogs find themselves back into the preseason rankings for the first time since the 2022-23 season.
Â
Fresno State held its annual Red vs Blue Scrimmage last week, and now turns its attention to the season opener on Oct. 10 against South Dakota State at home.
Â
Fresno State added 13 newcomers to the 2025-26 roster, while also hiring former Bulldog student-athlete Sara Tuck to the staff as assistant jumping seat coach. The Bulldogs return one of two All-America selections from a season ago in sophomore Paris Mahoney. Mahoney earned honorable mention honors in the flat as a true freshman, becoming just the second-ever true freshman to earn All-America honors in the flat for the Bulldogs. Mahoney had a 10-4-0 flat record with three MOP honors last season.
Â
Fresno State also returns veteran reiners Shelby Robinette and Brogan Hill, and experience in horsemanship from Abby Goddard and Hailey Olson.
