'Dogs finish tied for fifth in Tacoma

TACOMA, Wash. - The Fresno State women's golf team finished in a tie for fifth place at the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, posting a score of 18-over 882. Four Bulldogs recorded their best performances of the season, helping Fresno State earn their highest placed finish of the year.Â

 After shooting a season-low 4-under 68 in the first round of the tournament, Amelia Garibaldi concluded the tournament in a tie for ninth place, shooting 1-over 217. Garibaldi's ninth place finish was the second best of her career.

Lara Goerlich moved up twelve spots in the final round, shooting a career best even par to finish in a tie for 16th place. Vunnisa Vu finished her tournament tied for 20th, carding a 3-over 221. Vu tied her lowest score of the season in the first round after shooting 1-under.

Hyojeong Kang ended her tournament in a tie for 35th, shooting a career best 4-over 224. The freshman recorded a career best score of 1-over in the first round of the tournament.
