FRESNO, CA - The Fresno State women's golf team is back in action this week as they travel to Tacoma, Washington to compete in the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational, hosted by Seattle University, from October 5-6.Â

THE FIELD
The 17-team field includes: Cal Baptist, CSUN, Eastern Washington, Fresno State, Fullerton, Gonzaga, Grand Canyon, Idaho, Nevada, North Dakota, Portland State, Seattle University, UC Riverside, UC Irvine, Utah Valley, Washington State, and Weber State.Â

TOURNAMENT HISTORY
- Fresno State will be competing in the Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational for the fourth time in program history
- This marks the fourth straight season that the Bulldogs will participate in the tournament
- Fresno State's best finish in the tournament came last season, as the Bulldogs finished fifth in the tournament after posting a score of 18-over 882
- Lara Goerlich led the Bulldogs in the tournament, carding a score of 4-over 220 to finish tied for 16th
- Sara Rampoldi finished tied for 57th at 16-over with eight birdies in total during the tournament
LAST TOURNAMENTÂ
Fresno State is coming off their best finish of the season at the Kalispel Invitational, placing third in the tournament after carding a team score of 13-over 877 at Kalispel Golf and Country Club
- Janna Andaya led the Bulldogs in Spokane, finishing tied for third at 1-under after shooting 3-under with five birdies in the final round of the tournament
- Ariya Soldwisch joined Andaya in the top-10 after finishing tied for eight place at 1-over
- Lara Goerlich posted her second straight top-20 finish after ending her tournament in 19th place at 5-over.Â
WHO'S BACK
Fresno State will return two players from last season
Lara Goerlich, a native of Hanover, Germany, competed in all 12 tournaments during her freshman season at Fresno State. Goerlich ended the year with 4 top-25 finishes and 2 top-20 finishes, including a season-best 14th place finish at the 2026 Mountain West Women's Golf Championship where she shot 6-over par while recording a season-low round of 2-under 70 in the second round.Â
Sophomore Sara Rampoldi returns after competing in 11 tournaments last season for the Bulldogs. Rampoldi's best performance came at the Soboba Classic, where she recorded a 17th place after posting a score of 17-over 233. She produced a season-low round of 2-over 74 in the first round of the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic.Â
WHO'S NEW
Six new players will be joining the Fresno State women's golf program this season.
Senior Janna Andaya joins the program following three years at UC Riverside. Andaya is coming off her junior season where she competed in 11 tournaments for the Highlanders. She recorded two top-10 finishes and five top-20 finishes while posting a season-best fifth place finish at the Soboba Classic where she shot 9-over 225.
Fresno State added another transfer UC Riverside in Ivy Kim. Kim, a sophomore from North Hills, California, played in 11 tournaments during her freshman year at UC Riverside and posted a 77.31 season scoring average. She recorded an 11th place finish at Soboba Classic, shooting 13-over 229 while producing a season-low round of 2-under par in the Golf Iconic Classic.
Ariya Soldwisch comes to Fresno State after two seasons at CSUN. During her sophomore season, Soldwisch competed in 10 tournaments, starting the year with a season-best third place finish at the Wolverine Invitational where she posted a score of 6-under 210. The junior shot season-low rounds of 4-under 68 twice, and recorded six top-20 finishes.Â
Freshmen Joanna Bushnell Crist, Mia Solano, and Makaia Germond look to contribute this season with the Bulldogs as they get set to embark on their collegiate careers in the valley.Â
