Fleck, entering her 18th season leading the Bulldogs in 2025-26, has been the architect of Fresno State's program since its reinstatement in 2008, building a competitive, record-setting team from the ground up. Over nearly two decades in the pool, she has guided the Bulldogs to unprecedented heights both athletically and academically.
Under Fleck's leadership, Fresno State has broken and re-broken all 20 individual program records and all five relay records, illustrating sustained growth and excellence in competition. Most recently in the 2024-25 season, the Bulldogs posted one of the best campaigns in program history — advancing multiple swimmers to the NCAA Championships and earning Fleck her first Mountain West Swimming Coach of the Year honor.
In addition to success in the pool, her teams have excelled in the classroom, earning the CSCAA Team Scholar All-America Award for 17 consecutive spring semesters, with a team GPA of 3.00 or better for 12 straight years.
Reflecting on the extension, Coach Fleck said, "I am very excited to keep building up our program and representing Fresno State. I love Fresno State; it has been exciting to know that we have built this program from the ground for the last twenty years."
Fleck's tenure has included numerous milestones — from breakthrough conference finishes and dual-meet victories to record-setting individual performances — firmly establishing Fresno State as a respected competitor in collegiate swimming & diving.
