'Dog finish first day of NIC

OCALA, Fl. - The Fresno State swim and dive team completed the first day of the NIC meet at Florida Aquatics Swimming and Training (FAST) on Thursday afternoon, after the first day, Fresno State sits in fourth place with a total of 131 points. Hayley Oke appeared in two finals events in the 50 back (3rd, 24.86) and the 50 butterfly (6th, 24.16), the freshman was the only Bulldog to have multiple finals events. Jenna Pulkkinen earned the event win in the 50 breaststroke with a time of 27.76. Ryley Clark represented well in the 200 IM taking second place (1:59.45). Sienna Cheng-Lucey rounded out the Bulldog finalist finishing tenth in the 50 backstroke (25.50).
In the preliminary session, Clark placed 37th in the 50 back (25.90), while Franzi Djatej finished 37th in the 200 IM (2:04.15) and Pulkkinen for 25th in the 50 freestyle (23.42).Â
