Pulkkinen claims 100 breast title in second day of NIC

OCALA, FL - The Fresno State swim and dive team put forth another strong showing in Friday afternoons finals. After two days, Fresno State sits sixth in the team rankings with 280 points.Â
Jenna Pulkinne claimed the event in the 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:00.19 after taking the top seed in prelims (1:00.58). The junior has collected 48 points over the two days of events. Franzi Djatej made her first finals debut of hte meet in the 100 butterfly to take 19th in the event (54.86). Two Bulldogs showed up in the 100 backstroke finals, Sienna Cheng-Lucey placed 11th, dropping over a second from her preliminary time to touch with a 53.69. Ryley Clark finished close behind touching in 14th on a time of 54.33. In prelims, Laura Kalmar finished 33rd overall in the 400 IM.Â
