‘Dogs wrap up day one in Maricopa

MARICOPA, Ariz. - The Fresno State men's golf team finished the first day of the Wyoming Cowboy Classic tied for 17th place, posting a score of 4-over 380 following the completion of one full round at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club on Tuesday. The second round was not completed after it was suspended due to darkness.
Jaden Hunter opened his tournament by shooting 3-under 69 in the first round with five birdies to lead the Bulldogs.
Freshman Nash Arthurs started his tournament by carding an even-par in the opening round while collecting three birdies.
Von Wasson, Jake Bettencourt, and Zack Tarter all finished the first round at 2-over.
The second round is set to resume at 7:15 a.m. PT, followed immediately by the final round of the tournament upon its completion.
