‘Dogs finish day one in San Diego

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - The Fresno State men's golf team wrapped up day one of the R.E. Lamkin Invitational in 11th place, posting a score of 11-over 587 at San Diego Country Club on Monday.
Jaden Hunter started his day by carding a score of 4-under 68 in the opening round of the tournament, including five birdies. The senior sits tied for 23rd at an even-par while recording seven birdies in total through two rounds.
Von Wasson heads into the final round tied for 40th after shooting 2-over. The sophomore produced a bogey-free second round where he shot 1-under with a birdie on hole four.
Zack Tarter and Chris Bettencourt shot 6-over, and Jake Bettencourt finished his day at 7-over.
