Pair of 'Dogs earn Big 12 Rider of the Month honors

IRVING, Texas - A pair of Bulldog equestrians earned Big 12 Rider of the Month honors for March, announced by the conference office on Friday. Shelby Robinette earned the recognition in the reining and Sage Lindvall did in the fences.

Lindvall was 3-0-0 in the fences in the month of March, including earning her point at the Big 12 Championship. She earned the MOP in the Bulldogs' home win over UT Martin to kick off the month. Lindvall was also undefeated in her flat rides throughout the month, capping a productive month in the arena.

Robinette was undefeated in the month of March, including a reining victory at the Big 12 Championship. Her three-straight wins were the longest series of wins for her this season. Two of her three wins were against ranked opponents. All three of her points were won by three or more points.

The Bulldogs will head to Ocala, Florida for the NCEA National Championship next weekend. The Bulldogs will face No. 1 Auburn in the opening round on Thursday. More information is available here.
