Ally named MW Diver of the Year

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Fresno State's Grace Ally was named 2026 MW Diver of the Year, the conference announced on Thursday afternoon. Ally is the first diver in Fresno State program history to bear the "of the Year" title and earned the honors after a standout senior campaign. The Great Britain natives strongest diving discipline this season has been the platform event.Â
Ally was the only Mountain West Diver to qualify for the platform event at the NCAA Championship, finishing 28th with a score of 239.80. She claimed the final qualifying spot at the NCAA Zone E Championships, finishing seventh in the platform event with a score of 474.30. The senior earned All-Mountain West honors following the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Swimming & Diving Championships after finishing third with a score of 296.55.
During the season, Ally posted two top-three finishes in the platform this with an event win at Air Force Diving Invite and third place at USC Trojan Invite. The diver also owned four top-three finishes in the 1-meter and three in the 3-meter with a dual meet win against UC Davis.Â
In her career as a Bulldogs, Ally is a two-time NCAA qualifier, a 3x All-MW Honoree, set a All-Time MW Record in the platform (321.10, 2024) and holds the program record in the platform event in a championship meet (321.10, 2024).Â
