FRESNO, Calif. - The Fresno State women's golf team will travel to Rancho Mirage this week for the 2026 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Championship, held at Mission Hills Country Club from April 21 - April 23.Â

THE SCHEDULE
All ten Mountain West programs will compete on the par-72, 6286 yard Dinah Shore Golf Course starting Tuesday, playing 18 holes each day with tee times beginning at 7:00 a.m. PT.

Groups 1-5: 7:00-7:32 a.m. – San Jose State, Grand Canyon
Groups 6-10: 7:40 -8:12 a.m. – UNLV, Colorado State
Groups 11-15: 8:20-9:00 a.m. – Boise State, New Mexico, Fresno State
Groups 16-20: 9:10-9:50 a.m. – San Diego State, Nevada, Wyoming

For rounds two and three, groups will be determined based on results.

THE FIELD
Four Mountain West programs head into the championship tournament ranked inside the top 100 nationally, including San Jose State (No. 51), UNLV (No. 66), Boise State (No. 91), and San Diego State (No.95). Outside of the top 100 sits Grand Canyon (No. 114), followed by Colorado State (No. 115), New Mexico (No. 125), Nevada (No. 138), Fresno State (No. 145), and Wyoming ((No. 151).

LAST TOURNAMENT
- Fresno State finished tenth at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic, posting a score of 20-over 884 at Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Course
- Vunnisa Vu was the low Bulldog in the tournament, recording back-to-back rounds of 2-under par while finishing tied for 25th
- Lara Goerlich and Amelia Garibaldi also produced top-50 finishes, as Goerlich ended her tournament tied for 40th at 5-over while Garibaldi finished tied for 44th at 6-over
LAST TIME
- The Bulldogs finished in fifth place at the 2025 Credit Union 1 Mountain West Women's Golf Championship last season
- Katelyn Lehigh led the Bulldogs, finishing tied for 5th at 3-over par in the tournament
- Vunnisa Vu finished inside the top 10 after shooting 7-over to end her tournament tied for 8th.
