KJ Perry transfers to Fresno State from BYU

FRESNO, Calif. – Fresno State Men's Basketball Head Coach Vance Walberg announced the signing of KJ Perry, a transfer from BYU.
The 6-foot-3 point guard joined the Cougars in December of the 2025-26 season as a rare mid-season enrollee. He redshirted for the season as BYU made a brief run in the NCAA tournament as a No. 6 seed.
Prior to BYU, Perry was considered the number one junior college point guard in the 2024-25 season out of Citrus College in Glendora, California. Perry averaged 17.5 points per game as an Owl, shooting 49.5 percent from the field and 34.7 percent from three.
